Russophobia must be nipped in bud, Georgian PM says

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has called for Russophobia in Georgia to be “nipped in the bud,” arguing that hostility toward Russia is not inherent to Georgian society.

Kobakhidze stressed that Russophobia, like any form of xenophobia, is not natural to the Georgian people.

According to the prime minister, foreign forces are deliberately fueling Russophobic sentiments in Georgia in an effort to create political and economic problems for the country.
