This development allows Azerbaijan to utilise Turkish-produced armaments on the Pakistan-China manufactured JF-17 Block III aircraft, which the country plans to acquire, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the information, the project's partner China will not object to this.
The JF-17 Block III variant features an advanced multi-sensor targeting and laser designation module, known as ASELPOD, developed by ASELSAN, a prominent Turkish defence industry company. This integration is expected to significantly enhance the operational capabilities of Azerbaijan’s air force, allowing for more effective combat operations.
