The trip of members of the Albanian-Udi religious community living in Azerbaijan to the territories liberated from the Armenian occupation continues.
They visited the 5th-century church in the village of Talish after Sugovushan during a trip to the historical lands of Azerbaijan on the occasion of June 26 - the Day of the Armed Forces, according to Report.
During the visit to the church, the members of the community prayed in memory of our compatriots who became martyrs.
Members of the community performed a religious ceremony in the church and lit candles.

Members of the Albanian-Udi Christian religious community have started visiting the village of Sugovushan, Tartar District, liberated from the Armenian occupation, on the occasion of June 26 - Armed Forces Day.
Members of the community visited the 5th-century Albanian cultural heritage site in Sugovushan, which was restored by the Armenians in 1898 and presented as their temple, Report informs.
A religious ceremony was performed in the church.
The community members stressed that large-scale restoration works are being carried out in the liberated territories under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, and expressed confidence that all our historical, cultural and religious monuments will be restored in the near future.
