Armenian, Iranian security councils discuss cooperation

Armenian Security Council Secretary has discussed cooperation with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadian.

"Grigoryan congratulated Ahmadian on his appointment and wished him success for the benefit of the people of Iran,” the press service of the Armenian Security Council, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.

The sides exchanged views on economic cooperation, as well as other issues of further cooperation," the message reads.

Ahmadian was appointed to his current post in May 2023. Since 2006, he headed the strategic centre of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
