Russian official: Kamala Harris’ presidential bid over
Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has commented on the end of Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, stating that while her candidacy is over, the goals of the "special operation" remain unchanged and will be achieved.
“Kamala is finished... Let her keep cackling infectiously. The objectives of the Special Military Operation remain unchanged and will be achieved,” Caliber.Az reports, citing Medvedev's message on X.
World leaders and politicians have offered their congratulations to Donald Trump, the Republican candidate who declared victory in the US presidential election. Donald Trump declared himself the winner of the US presidential election, making this announcement on November 6 during a meeting with his supporters in Florida.
In his speech, Trump emphasized that he had achieved a "political victory," calling himself the 47th President of the United States and describing the result as an "amazing victory" in the election.
"We’ve achieved the most incredible political thing, political victory, that our country has never seen before — nothing like this," Trump said. Trump expressed gratitude to his supporters and family for their invaluable support, referring to his wife Melania as the "First Lady" of the United States. He also noted that the people of the US had given him a "strong mandate."
Donald Trump has 267 of the 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House and is leading in key races left to be called, including Michigan and Wisconsin.
