Russia says 25 Ukrainian drones destroyed overnight in southern regions
Russia’s Defence Ministry said its air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 25 Ukrainian drones overnight in the country’s south.
The ministry said the attacks took place between 23:50 Moscow time on August 11 and 03:40 on August 12, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the statement, 22 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were downed over the Rostov region, while another three were destroyed over the Stavropol region.
Acting Governor of the Rostov Region Yuri Slyusar said that a UAV attack had been repelled in the Millerovo district. Windows were broken in three private houses there, and the roof of another was damaged, but there were no casualties.
A drone alert was issued in the Stavropol Krai during the night, but there is no information about the consequences of the attack yet.
