Armenian official highlights opportunities from Baku-Yerevan peace accord

Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan addressed the nation’s youth on International Youth Day, August 12, emphasising the significance of the peace agreement signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Simonyan stated that the agreement “opens great opportunities and wide doors” for Armenia to strengthen its economy, develop education, and enhance security. He expressed his belief that the younger generation will become “the greatest builder and guardian of lasting peace," Caliber.Az cites. 

“I believe that together we will build a safe, just, and prosperous Armenia, where you will be able to realize your dreams without limitations, uncertainties, and fears. Let us walk together towards solidarity and a peaceful future,” Simonyan wrote on Facebook.
