Georgia hails Trump’s role in Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agreement

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze once again congratulated Azerbaijan and Armenia on the initialing of the peace agreement, emphasising its significance for the region.

Kobakhidze noted that the signing of the document became possible thanks to the leadership of USPresident Donald Trump, Caliber.Az reports per Georgian media. 

He said that Georgia actively used all available resources to facilitate the conclusion of the agreement.

Kobakhidze told journalists that the agreement will contribute to strengthening peace and economic prosperity in the South Caucasus. He also emphasised that the country intends to continue working together with its neighbours in the future to consolidate peace and improve well-being in the region.
