CEC: United Russia leads parliamentary election with 57.54%
Russia’s ruling United Russia party is leading the elections to the State Duma with 57.54% of the vote, according to preliminary results released by the Central Election Commission (CEC).
CEC Chair Ella Pamfilova said that 13.88% of polling-station protocols had been processed as of the latest count. United Russia had received 3,889,584 votes at that stage, accounting for 57.54% of the ballots counted.
“Currently, 13.88% of the protocols have been processed. United Russia has received 3,889,584 votes — I emphasise, from 13.88% of the processed protocols — which amounts to 57.54%,” Pamfilova said during a briefing.
The elections to the State Duma of the ninth convocation were held on September 18–20, 2026. The chamber has 450 seats, with deputies elected through a combination of party-list and single-member constituency voting.
The preliminary figures remain subject to change as election authorities continue to process ballots.
