Armenian PM, US ambassador discuss regional agenda PHOTO
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed issues of bilateral cooperation with US Ambassador Kristina Kvien, according to the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers.
The prime minister highlighted the development of ties between the two countries and emphasized the role of the US in the issue of implementation of democratic reforms in Armenia, Caliber.Az reports citing Armenian media.
Pashinyan also said that Yerevan highly appreciates the US efforts within the framework of the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and steps to establish stability in the region.
The interlocutors touched upon the deepening of cooperation in different directions, and issues related to the Armenia-US strategic dialogue.
"They exchanged views on the processes in the South Caucasus, possibilities of unblocking regional communications, the Armenian government's 'Crossroads of Peace' project", the report says.
