Russian army receives new batch of Su-57 fighters, Su-34 bombers
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Russian aerospace and defence corporation, has delivered a new batch of Su-57 fighters and Su-34 frontline bombers to the Russian Ministry of Defence.
The newly delivered aircraft have completed necessary training and are now deployed to their respective duty stations, Caliber.Az reports citing Russian media.
These advanced aircraft are equipped to strike ground, air, and sea targets, as well as infrastructure protected by air defence systems. The Su-34 fighter-bombers are specifically designed for precision strikes against a variety of targets, enhancing Russia’s military capabilities.
This delivery follows a similar one at the end of November, when UAC provided additional Su-34 bombers to the Russian military.
Prior to this, Uralvagonzavod delivered a new batch of Solntsepek heavy flamethrower systems to the Special Military Operation (SMO) zone. The plant's engineers made significant upgrades to the TOS-1A flamethrower combat vehicle, incorporating feedback from soldiers serving in the SMO zone.
Additionally, it has been reported that Russian weapons are experiencing record-high order volumes.
