Serbia extradites fraud suspect to Azerbaijan PHOTO

Serbia has extradited an Azerbaijani national wanted on fraud charges, according to the country's Ministry of Justice.

The ministry said Sabuhi Elbrus oghlu Mammadov, who was the subject of an Interpol international wanted notice, was detained in Serbia on charges of fraud involving losses of more than 90,000 manats to the victim, Caliber.Az reports.

In accordance with the Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters, Mammadov was escorted from Belgrade to Azerbaijan by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
