Azerbaijan hands over martyr’s body to his family

The body of Azerbaijani serviceman Babak Aliyev has been handed over to his family.

Aliyev died as a result of the explosion of a mine planted by Armenians in the eastern Kalbajar district on August 5, in the territory recently taken by Azerbaijan under control, Report informs.

The farewell ceremony will be held in Lekatag village of the Julfa district in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
After the ceremony, the martyr will be buried in a rural cemetery.

The Kalbajar Military Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case upon the corresponding article of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.

The investigation is underway.
