Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan discuss strategic partnership in urban development PHOTO
Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, held a meeting with Maksat Mamytkanov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan.
The meeting focused on the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of urban planning and architecture, according to the State Committee’s press service, cited by Caliber.Az.

Guliyev emphasised that Kyrgyzstan’s fraternal support in the reconstruction and restoration of Karabakh and East Zangezur is highly valued by Azerbaijan.
He highlighted the opening of a school building this year in the village of Khidirli in the Aghdam district as a tangible example of this support and expressed confidence that joint projects between the two countries will continue to grow successfully.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Guliyev invited the Kyrgyz side to actively participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, scheduled to be held in Baku in 2026.
