Azerbaijan names presidential military aide new envoy to Belarus

The president of Azerbaijan has appointed Maharram Aliyev as an ambassador to Belarus.

Before the appointment, Maharram Aliyev was the head of the Department for Military Affairs under the Administration of the Azerbaijani President, Caliber.Az reports.

By another presidential order, Ulvi Bakhshaliyev was recalled from the posts of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Belarus and of a permanent plenipotentiary representative of the Azerbaijan Republic to the statutory and other bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
