Azerbaijani president’s meetings at the White House to be broadcast live

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will hold key meetings at the White House today, on August 8. 

President Aliyev is scheduled to meet with US President Donald Trump at 3:20 p.m. local time (23:20 Baku time). Later, at 4:00 p.m. local time (00:00 Baku time), President Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will join President Trump for a joint meeting, Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

US President Donald Trump earlier described the upcoming meetings as a “Peace Summit” on his Truth Social account, expressing his anticipation for the event. He also called today a historic day for Azerbaijan, Armenia, the United States, and the entire world.
