Azerbaijan president underlines growing Baku–Sarajevo ties in holiday message
Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev emphasised the friendship and growing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina in a congratulatory message to Željko Komšić, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the occasion of the country’s national holiday.
In his message, President Aliyev expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Komšić and the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, saying that the steady development of relations between the two countries is a source of great satisfaction, Caliber.Az reports via Azertag.
He highlighted that expanding political contacts and active dialogue have been accompanied by effective cooperation in a number of areas.
“The steady development of relations between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina is a source of great satisfaction. Our expanding political contacts and active dialogue are accompanied by effective mutual cooperation in a number of areas,” the letter adds.
The Azerbaijani president also noted that he is confident Azerbaijan–Bosnia and Herzegovina relations will continue to grow through joint efforts.
“I am confident that Azerbaijan–Bosnia and Herzegovina relations, rooted in the friendship of our peoples, will continue to develop through our joint efforts and that our cooperation will further strengthen,” the president added.
“On this remarkable day, I wish you good health, happiness, and success in your endeavors, and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” the letter concluded.
