President Aliyev: Baku intends to expand interstate relations with Brunei

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter to the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, Hassanal Bolkiah, congratulating him on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Brunei.  

He noted that the friendly ties developed over the past three decades have created favourable opportunities for advancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, Caliber.Az reports, citing the president's official website.

The president emphasised that Baku is determined to further expand interstate relations with Brunei and enrich bilateral cooperation with new substance.

Aliyev expressed confidence that the two countries will continue joint efforts aimed at strengthening relations and deepening cooperation both bilaterally and within multilateral formats.
