Azerbaijan reinforces role as regional partner committed to peace, pundit says
Azerbaijan has strengthened its image as a reliable partner contributing to peace and stability in the region, Farid Shafiyev, head of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center), stated at a conference in Vienna.
Shafiyev highlighted that Azerbaijan's accession to the Non-Aligned Movement in 2011 underscored the country’s commitment to the principles of the Bandung Conference. He added that this policy remains a cornerstone of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy today, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Emphasising the importance of regional cooperation, Shafiyev noted that Azerbaijan places particular emphasis on bilateral relations, especially deepening its allied ties with Türkiye.
He further underscored Baku’s ongoing support for initiatives promoting dialogue, multilateralism, and international justice across global platforms.
