Azerbaijan to attract $4-6 million per annum to achieve zero emissions

To achieve net "zero emissions" by 2050, Azerbaijan has planned to attract $4-6 million per year until 2030 in renewable energy, technologies and infrastructure, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli said.

He made the remarks at the Baku-based conference "The Role of National Parliaments in Promoting Security and Stability through the Green Economy, Transport Coordination and Sustainable Development," Report informs

“Azerbaijan has joined the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals agenda. For the first time in the region, our country presented three voluntary national reports at the UN forum. These reports reflect green growth as well as the commitment to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals,” Bashirli said.
