Azerbaijan to launch round-the-clock water supply in Shusha
The most large-scale work of Azersu Company in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories is carried out in the city of Shusha.
This was stated by the Spokesperson for Azersu, Anar Jabrayilli, Report informs.
Speaking about the company’s activities in Shusha, Jabrayilli said a section of the Kichik Kirs-Shusha main water pipeline, measuring 6 kilometres in length, was completely reconstructed and put into operation.
“We are getting ready to renew the intercity water network in Shusha. According to the results of the research, with the development of the city in the future, there may be a shortage of water in winter and summer,” he said.
“Therefore, a working group was created with the participation of representatives of state bodies. The initial action plan is ready. We will build a reservoir and a pumping station in the upper part of the Dashalty village. A main water pipeline stretching along 2.6 kilometres will also be laid.”
According to the Azersu representative, the main goal is to ensure round-the-clock water supply in Shusha, which was provided with water according to a schedule in the Soviet times. The round-the-clock water supply will reportedly cover all commercial, tourist, military, and civilian facilities in the city.
