Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss boosting Middle Corridor

Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Rovshan Rustamov, who is on a working visit to Türkiye has held a number of bilateral meetings to discuss joint measures for the development of the Middle Corridor.

During the meeting, with Hasan Pezük, Director General of the Turkish State Railways (TCDD), talks were held on development of the current cooperation between the two countries in the railroad sphere, on the work regarding the improvement of the Kars-Nakhchivan railroad project and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line, and an agreement was reached on exchange of experience between the railway structures of the two countries, Report informs.

In his meeting with Ufuk Yalçın, Director General and Chairman of the Board of TCDD Taşımacılık, Rustamov discussed possible prospects for bilateral cooperation, the current state of cooperation between the countries in the field of international freight transportation and a number of other issues.
