Azerbaijani, Armenian leaders talk over regional stability, peace at SCO summit in China PHOTO

On September 1, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held talks with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit.

According to Caliber.Az, the meeting was confirmed on the official website of the Azerbaijani presidency.

The leaders discussed the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace agenda, emphasising the importance of constructive dialogue, mutual trust, and regional stability.

Both Aliyev and Pashinyan highlighted the positive momentum generated at the recent Washington summit, which reaffirmed international support for the peace and normalisation process.

The two sides agreed to continue their contacts in the coming period.
