Brent crude falls below $79 for first time since late March

The price of a futures contract for Brent crude oil for delivery in July 2023 on the London ICE exchange fell below $79 per barrel for the first time since March 31, 2023.

According to TASS, this is evidenced by the auction data.

Thus, the cost of Brent decreased by 2.22 per cent - to $78.97 per barrel.

At the same time, futures for WTI crude oil for delivery in June 2023 fell 2.22 per cent to $75.74 per barrel.
