Bulgarian president's delayed Baku visit fuels bilateral co-op talks with Azerbaijan
On March 24, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev reached out to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan via phone.
Radev conveyed his regret regarding the unforeseen delay of his planned trip to Baku, citing internal political commitments in Bulgaria, Caliber.Az reports, citing Azertac.
The two leaders engaged in discussions regarding the enhancement of bilateral cooperation across various sectors of mutual interest. They underscored the abundant opportunities for bolstering collaboration in energy, investments, transportation connectivity, and fostering business ties between their nations.
Furthermore, they emphasized the ongoing efforts to finalize bilateral agreements regularly to strengthen the legal framework for cooperation.
During their conversation, both presidents agreed to coordinate new dates for the visit through diplomatic channels.
