Orbán to Aliyev: Hungary can count on Azerbaijan in times of peace, in time of crisis
Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has sent his warmest congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on the occasion of his birthday, praising the growth of relations between the two nations.
The Hungarian leader highlighted the longstanding partnership between the countries, noting that Hungary has relied on Azerbaijan “both in times of peace, and in times of crisis in the last decades," Caliber.Az reports via local media.
"I am grateful that Hungary has been able to count on Azerbaijan both in times of peace, and in time of crisis in the last decades. Our bilateral relations continue to grow stronger year by year, while our cooperation has been extended to an increasing number of key areas, with particular focus on the energy sector. I am firmly convinced that, owing to Your Excellency's personal commitment, a new era has begun in the relations between our nations, for which I would like to convey my true appreciation," he wrote.
He also reaffirmed the commitment of his government to the deepening of partnership and to advancing the common interests of the two nations.
"I wish you every success and good health in your responsible duties," the letter concluded.
