China endorses global efforts for peaceful resolution of Ukraine conflict

China has reiterated its support for all initiatives aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

During a briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning affirmed China’s commitment to promoting peace and resolving the crisis through diplomatic means, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

The foreign ministry official's comments came in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s remarks about Russia’s collaboration with China, India, and Brazil regarding the Ukrainian situation. Mao emphasized China’s dedication to supporting any efforts that advance peace and facilitate a political resolution to the conflict.

"We support all efforts that promote peace," Ning stated. She assured that China will continue to work alongside the international community to foster the necessary conditions for a political settlement of the crisis.
