Dozens of militants killed as Israel carries out strikes across Gaza VIDEO
The Israel Defence Forces has reported an expansion of the operation zone in the area of Khan Younis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Dozens of combatants have been eliminated over the past 24 hours, IDF press service said on Telegram, according to Caliber.Az.
A group of militants hiding in the building was also neutralised from the air.
A search of a house on the outskirts of Jabaliya, in the northern part of the Strip, uncovered weapons, militant training materials and photographs of children holding weapons.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian death toll from Israeli attacks surged to 21,320 since October 7.
In a statement, ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said that 55,603 other people had been injured in the Israeli onslaught.
“At least 210 people were killed and 360 others injured in the last 24 hours,” he added.
The spokesman said that 312 medics were killed and 104 ambulances destroyed in Israeli attacks, while 23 hospitals and 142 healthcare centres were forced out of service.
