EU extends sanctions against Russia
14 March 2023 12:03
The European Union Official Journal has published an EU Council resolution extending sanctions against Russian individuals for another six months.
The list excludes Russian parliament member Nikolay Petrunin, the editor-in-chief of the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper Vladimir Sungorkin and the so-called deputy governor of Kherson Region, Kyrylo Stremousov, Caliber.Az reports, citing the EU official journal.
The published EU document said that the decision on sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities should be extended for another six months "due to the ongoing actions undermining and threatening Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence".
