European Commission: Ukraine exports over 10 million tons of grain as part of grain deal

Acting Deputy Director-General of the European Commission (EC) Dana Spinant and EU Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Nabila Massrali said that Ukraine has already exported more than 14 million tons of grain as part of the grain deal, and the EC urges Russia to reconsider the decision to withdraw from the agreement.

The sides made these remarks at a briefing in Brussels, according to TASS.

“Ukraine has already exported more than 14 million tons of grain as part of this deal,” Spinant said.

Massrali noted that the EC calls on Russia to resume the grain deal and the movement of ships along the corridor in the Black Sea.
