Georgian State Security Service disseminates information about citizen of Georgia illegally detained in occupied Abkhazia
The State Security Service of Georgia has disseminated information about the citizen of Georgia, Kristine Takalandze, who was illegally detained by the representatives of occupied Abkhazia.
According to the State Security Service, active work is underway to release Kristine Takalandze, interpressnews.ge reports.
"Representatives of the occupation regime of occupied Abkhazia illegally arrested Georgian citizen Kristine Takalandze. Regarding the illegal detention, the State Security Service immediately activated the hotline and informed the EU Monitoring Mission and the co-chairs of the Geneva talks.
Active work is underway and all available mechanisms are being used to release the citizen of Georgia from illegal imprisonment.
Illegal detentions carried out by the occupation regime complicate the daily life of the local population and severely damage the security environment," reads the statement.
