Germany to finance purchase of six IRIS-T air defence systems for Ukraine

The German government is planning to allocate funds for the procurement of six IRIS-T SLM air defence systems for Ukraine.

Additionally, six similar systems are set to be supplied for the needs of the German Armed Forces, the Bundeswehr, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.

"Germany plans to donate additional six IRIS-T SLM surface-to-air missile systems to Ukraine and intends to purchase six more IRIS-T SLM units for its own air force," the message says.
