Hungarian PM congratulates Ilham Aliyev on victory in presidential polls
Hungarian Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban has congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the presidential elections.
During the telephone conversation, Orban also wished him success in his activities for the development of Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reported on February 7, citing the official website of the Azerbaijani president.
Aliyev thanked the Hungarian prime minister for his attention and congratulations.
During the telephone conversation, it was emphasized that relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary are successfully developing in various fields, and they also expressed confidence that bilateral ties will continue to strengthen in the future.
According to the preliminary results of the exit-poll conducted by the US organization Oracle Advisory Group, incumbent President Ilham Aliyev won 93.9 per cent of votes at the presidential election, held on February 7.
