President Aliyev inspects major renovation projects in Khankendi and Shusha

On September 19, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev undertook a series of significant inspections and inaugurations in the cities of Khankendi and Shusha, marking pivotal advancements in regional development and cultural preservation.

In Khankendi, President Aliyev reviewed several renovation and restoration projects aimed at revitalizing the city. The President inspected the ongoing renovation work at the Bulud Hotel, assessing the progress and quality of the restoration efforts. He also reviewed the planned improvements for the Khankendi State Drama Theatre, which is set to enhance the cultural infrastructure of the region, Caliber.Az reports via Azertag.

Further demonstrating commitment to education and early childhood development, President Aliyev attended the reopening of Nizami Ganjavi Secondary School No. 4, which has undergone extensive renovation. Additionally, he inaugurated the newly renovated nursery-kindergarten No. 1, underscoring the government's dedication to improving educational facilities and supporting the growth of young children.

The President also visited Victory Square, where he reviewed the construction of a new Convention Center, a project that aims to bolster the city's infrastructure and provide a venue for various events and gatherings.

In Shusha, President Aliyev participated in the reopening of Uzeyir Hajibeyli's house-museum following its restoration. This event highlights the ongoing efforts to preserve Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage and honor its historical figures. Additionally, President Aliyev took part in the inauguration of the Flag Square in Shusha, a new landmark celebrating national pride and unity.
