IDF says it killed Hamas naval commander behind thwarted infiltration attempt VIDEO

The Israel Defense Forces says it has killed the commander of Hamas’s naval forces of the Gaza City Brigade, Rateb Abu Tzahiban, in an overnight airstrike.

The IDF says Abu Tzahiban planned and commanded a Hamas infiltration attempt via the sea on October 24th, which was foiled by Israeli Navy forces, Caliber.Az reports citing IDF's press service.

Additionally, Israeli Navy soldiers and the IAF provided support to IDF ground forces and struck numerous Hamas terror targets from the air and the sea. Among these terror targets were observation posts, anti-tank missile launchers, and a military compound.

Earlier, the Israel Defence Forces and the General Security Service (Shabak) announced the elimination of Assam Abu Rakaba, the "commander of the air force" of the Hamas terrorist organisation, in Gaza.
