Iran's president condemns US's decision to veto UNSC resolution on Gaza
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said at a government meeting that what is happening in the Gaza Strip showed the world the inhuman face of the US government.
The day before, the US used the right of veto to block the adoption of the UN Security Council resolution calling for a halt to hostilities in the Gaza Strip, Lenta.ru reports, via the website of the Iranian president.
In addition, Raisi stressed that the whole world today realized the need to put an end to the policy of unipolarity in the international arena.
However, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that the country's authorities oppose a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. According to the politician, a ceasefire until the ruling Palestinian movement Hamas is defeated will only "perpetuate" the existing problems.
