US diplomat: Azerbaijani gas flows to Syria, lighting up war-torn nation
US Ambassador to Türkiye and Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Barrack has announced that natural gas sourced from Azerbaijan will soon provide energy to five million homes across Syria, marking a major milestone in regional energy cooperation and humanitarian support.
In a statement published on his official account on the social platform X, Barrack expressed his appreciation to Qatar for financing the initiative, which aims to deliver reliable energy to war-torn Syrian communities, Caliber.Az reports.
