Israeli embassy condoles over deaths of Azerbaijanis in Hamas attacks

The Israeli embassy in Azerbaijan has expressed condolences over the deaths of Azerbaijanis in Hamas attacks on Israel.

The message of condolence of the embassy was posted on the embassy’s X page, Caliber.Az reports.

“We express our sincere condolences to the brave Israelis, originally from Azerbaijan, who gave their lives to defend their homeland,” the message reads.

In the meantime, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Spokesman Aykhan Hajizada has confirmed deaths of eight Azerbaijani natives in Hamas attacks on Israel. He also added that the government has no plans to evacuate own citizens from Israel.
