A memorandum of cooperation has been signed in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, between Azerbaijan’s "Reformist Youth" Public Union and the Kyrgyz Youth Parliament.

Chairman of the Reformist Youth Public Union Farid Shahbazli and Head of the Kyrgyz Youth Parliament Asel Amanova signed the memorandum and highlighted that the two countries share historical friendly and fraternal ties, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The sides noted that Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan closely cooperate in various spheres. The young leaders stated that there is great potential for collaboration between the two fraternal countries in the field of youth policy.

"The state policy which is being implemented under the leadership of the two countries' leaders, Ilham Aliyev and Sadyr Japarov, serve as a roadmap for youth activity," the sides noted.

The memorandum outlines an agreement to increase the frequency of mutual visits between youth organisations of the two countries, implement joint projects covering youth policy, ecology, and public diplomacy, as well as collaborate on promoting the realities of both nations.

The memorandum was also signed by Head of the "Tilimpoz" project of Kyrgyzstan Tilek Mirlan and Head of the "Tamchy Bulak" project Elbek Habibullaev.
