Karabakh’s revival showcased in new photo exhibition at Baku Airport PHOTO

A photo exhibition depicting the progress made in the reconstruction and revival of Azerbaijan's liberated territories in Karabakh is open to viewers travelling through the capital's international airport.

The exhibition titled “Revival of Karabakh: The Story of Azerbaijan’s Renaissance” launched on November 5, Caliber.Az reports citing local media outlets.

Organized by the publicly operated "Karabakh Revival Fund" with the support of Azerbaijan's national carrier "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL), the exhibition at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport features 25 photographs.

The installation is displayed in the Duty Free area as well as the baggage claim zone in Terminal 1 and will run until November 12.

The photographs, taken in the territories liberated from occupation, showcase the scale of the reconstruction and development works carried out in Karabakh under the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the restoration of historical and cultural heritage and the growth of social infrastructure.

The exhibition also highlights the natural beauty, flora, and fauna of the Karabakh region.

The same exhibition will also be displayed in major shopping centers in Baku and other locations during that time period.

Since its establishment in 2021 following a presidential decree, the Karabakh Revival Fund provides financial support and attracts investments to measures taken to restore and reconstruct the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The public legal entity is also engaged in educational and outreach activities, promoting accurate information about the region as well as raising public awareness of the reconstruction and development efforts in the liberated territories.
