Police detain 42 people after Jerusalem attack

Israeli police have detained 42 people following an attack outside a synagogue in East Jerusalem.

According to NEWSru.co.il, many of the detainees are relatives or acquaintances of the alleged terrorist, 21-year-old local resident Alkam Khairi.

Earlier, it was reported that his parents were detained, as well as 15 men who came to the Khairi family home. As part of the investigation, the police will closely examine the connection between each of the suspects and the terrorist, ascertaining the extent of their knowledge of the impending attack.
