Russia downs Ukraine’s MiG-29 aircraft, Mi-8 helicopter
Russian Armed Forces have killed Ukrainian servicemen and destroyed military equipment in 132 Ukrainian districts using tactical and military aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), missiles and artillery.
Moreover, the production sites for UAVs and unmanned boats were also damaged in the Malodolinskoye settlement of the Odesa region, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Russian Defence Ministry.
During the day, MiG-29 aircraft, as well as a Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Forces were shot down in the Pryvitne settlement of Zaporizhzhya region and Verovka settlement of Kherson region.
Eight Storm Shadow cruise missiles, two Neptune anti-ship missiles, and six HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems were intercepted.
Moreover, 33 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed, including those in the Zolotarivka settlement of the Luhansk People's Republic, as well as the Pidhorodne and Klishchiivka settlements of the Donetsk People's Republic.
In total, 518 aircraft, 254 helicopters, 8,464 UAVs, 441 anti-aircraft missile systems, 13,044 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 1,172 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 6,929 artillery guns and mortars, as well as 14,797 special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
