Russian diplomat: German authorities creating chaos in Europe
Spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova has said that German authorities are creating chaos in Europe by continuing to provide Ukraine with technology and military aid.
"Police are advising Jews and homosexuals to avoid certain areas of Berlin, where populations of Arab descent sympathetic to terrorism are present. Berlin is fully aware of these elements. Instead of addressing these locations, law enforcement seems to only warn these two groups," Zakharova said, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
She emphasised that Germany apparently lacks the resources and capability to restore order in its capital but continues sending military aid and technologies to Ukraine.
The spokesperson added that Berlin's policy is turning life in Europe into "an increasingly hellish situation."
Zakharova stated that the global majority is witnessing the monstrous collapse of Western ideology, however, its countries are unable to admit defeat.
Earlier, violence in Amsterdam surrounding a Europa League football match between Ajax and Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv shocked the world, set against a backdrop of rising antisemitic and Islamophobic abuse and attacks across Europe, fueled by the ongoing Middle East conflict. Amsterdam's mayor, Femke Halsema, stated that she had not been informed that the match was considered high-risk. Amsterdam's city hall announced that an independent investigation was underway to examine the events and the response of Dutch authorities, including police and intelligence services, before, during, and after the match. The report's initial conclusion suggested that the violence was the result of a "toxic cocktail" of antisemitism, hooliganism, and anger over the conflict in Palestine, Israel, and other Middle Eastern countries.
