Russia to maintain dialogue with Iran on Ukraine conflict Kremlin spokesperson says
Russia will persist in clarifying its stance on the Ukraine conflict to Iran, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
Speaking to reporters, Peskov emphasized the importance of communicating Russia's position to its Iranian counterparts, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
This statement followed remarks by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who stated during the UN General Assembly that Tehran does not endorse aggression against Ukraine. Pezeshkian expressed Iran's willingness to engage in discussions about the situation in Ukraine with Europe and the US at the negotiating table.
Responding to Pezeshkian's comments, Peskov acknowledged Iran's sovereign stance, reaffirming the positive interactions between Moscow and Tehran across various sectors. He expressed optimism that this collaboration would continue to grow in the future.
