Serbia to reconsider attitude towards Ukraine's territorial integrity, says FM

Serbian Foreign Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic has said that Ukraine has "unpleasantly surprised" Serbs with its position on Kosovo.

"Ukraine has unpleasantly surprised us because this entire history [of the Ukrainian conflict] is based on the issue of Ukraine's territorial integrity. Do you know the effort with which we vote, primarily because of these problems we have with our territorial integrity, in condemning the violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity in all the resolutions? And they, when it comes to our territorial integrity, abstained," TASS quotes Dacic as saying.

The Serbian foreign minister said that Serbia would reconsider its attitude towards Ukraine's territorial integrity because Serbia's position has always been based on reciprocity.

Ukraine abstained from voting on unrecognized Kosovo's accession to the Council of Europe (CoE) - despite the fact that Kyiv does not recognise the province's independence.

Earlier, Serbia criticised Ukraine's position on voting in the Council of Europe on Kosovo.
