Turkish president calls on compatriots living abroad over 2023 elections

The letter written by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Turks living abroad covers Turkish citizens in many countries.

In the letter, the president underlines the projects implemented so far for citizens abroad and draws attention to the importance of the 2023 elections, according to TRT Haber.

According to the letter, the citizens living abroad represent Türkiye very well.

Emphasising that the citizens abroad have achieved great success in the social, political, economic and scientific fields, the president says that Türkiye fully supports the Turks abroad.

According to the president's letter, many projects covering Turks abroad have been implemented.

Moreover, more consulates opened, e-government services became available to Turks abroad.

“We brought you the ballot boxes that you have been waiting for fifty years so that you can have a say in the future of our country,” President Erdogan said in his letter.

AK Party Representative in Germany Meryem Göka said that the president's messages were delivered to citizens in every German city as part of the activity.

"The AK Party’s representatives in Germany visit NGOs, convey the greetings of President Erdogan to our citizens and explain the services of our government and the work which is done for our citizens living abroad," Göka said.
