Türkiye neutralizes nearly 35,000 terrorists since 2015

Since the beginning of the year, the Turkish Armed Forces have neutralized 425 terrorists in northern Iraq, conducting 180 special operations, 38 large and 142 medium.

According to Caliber.Az, the Turkish Ministry of National Defence announced this on its Twitter page.

Operation Pençe-Kilit, launched on April 17 in the districts of Metina, Avashin-Basyan, and Zap as part of a series of Pençe operations, is being successfully carried out, and terrorist shelters are being destroyed one after another.

It was also noted on the attempted attacks from Tel Rifaat, Manbij and east of the Euphrates in northern Syria.

"As of January 1, the terrorist organization committed 476 acts of sabotage and attacks in the areas of our operations. With the direct intervention of our special forces, 1,256 terrorists were neutralized," the report says.

In addition, since July 24, 2015, the neutralization of a total of 34,950 terrorists, including Iraq and northern Syria, has been confirmed.
