Türkiye's biggest taxpayer: Selcuk Bayraktar

Selcuk Bayraktar, head of the board of directors of Baykar, a Turkish company that manufactures Bayraktar-type drones, has become Türkiye's record holder in terms of income tax payments in 2022.

Caliber.Az reports citing Turkish media, the General Directorate of Revenue disseminated the information.

Bayraktar paid over 564 million 124 thousand liras (about $19 million) of income tax in 2022.

The entrepreneur, who ranked second on the list, wished to remain anonymous.

The third place in the list was taken by entrepreneur Mustafa Rahmi Koc, who paid over 200 million 757 thousand liras (about $7 million) of income tax.
