UK warns ship captains to be cautious in Red Sea

The Joint Maritime Operations Coordination Centre of the UK’s Navy has said that a ship was attacked 59 nautical miles southwest of the Gulf of Aden.

The ship was attacked at 05:05 (GMT+1), TASS reports.

“An investigation is underway. No further details are reported,” the message says.

The Centre gives its standard advice to vessels sailing in the Red Sea to be cautious and inform about any suspicious incidents.
