Zelenskyy backs Macron's idea of sending troops to Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed support to the idea of his French colleague Emmanuel Macron about the possible sending of troops to Ukraine.

 The Ukrainian leader made his statement while commenting on Macron's words about the possible sending of military instructors and mechanics to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Gazeta.ru reports.

"I fully support this. As for the border mission, how can we refuse. If they offer and come here, we will only support," Zelenskyy said on the air of the news telethon.

The French president also suggested deploying foreign military personnel on the border with Belarus in order to free up the Ukrainian Armed Forces' reserves deployed in this area.
